Hanjin Heavy Industries Allegedly Paid Bribes in Shipyard Deal the Philippines


In May 2008, it was reported that an investigation was underway in South Korea into reports that South Korea’s Hanjin Heavy Industries Inc., allegedly bribed local officials in connection to a contract to build a $2 billion shipyard in Mindanao, Philippines.
