Smith & Nephew Under Investigation in the UK for Allegedly Paying Bribes in the Oil for Food Programme


In January 2008, it was reported that Smith & Nephew, the medical devices company, has been asked by the UK's Serious Fraud Office to submit documents as part of its inquiry into allegations that British companies paid bribes to Saddam Hussein’s regime in Iraq under the Oil-for-Food Programme.
